Volunteer

The Puttenham Barn Bunkhouse is run by Project Oasis North Downs (POND), a voluntary organisation dedicated to running the historic barn as an eco-friendly hostel for walkers, cyclists and horseriders. Volunteers have done much of the work in restoring the barn and other people have contributed in many other ways, for which we are very grateful. Come and join us in promoting a greener and more sustainable lifestyle.

There are a number of roles that all need additional volunteers -

Feel you might have something to offer? Contact details are below - email, call or write to us - and do it now!

We work also with the Do It (https://doit.life) organisation and Voluntary Action South West Surrey (https://app.betterimpact.com) and you can find more details of our opportunities there.

Still using paper? (many of us do) - then download our supporters form, fill it in and send it back to us straightaway.

Newsletter

Feel welcome to download a copy of our praise-winning Autumn 2022 (pdf, 623 kb) or our Spring 2022 (pdf, 710 kB) newsletters.

Surrey Hills

The Surrey Hills AONB project is an example of an organisation that has given us invaluable support in providing us with a publicity budget. We are very grateful to them.

If your organisation has similar ideals and would like to offer support, please do contact us.

One very special supporter

In August 2022 Morag Warrack, one of our wardens, wrote a great article published in the West Sussex Times. It was about Puttenham Barn, and about one of its founders and continuing supporters. The article is now on the Sussex Green Living website.
