Do you have special dietary requirements or are vegetarian/vegan?

We can recommend the Manor Farm Tearoom which caters to a variety of dietary needs, with many ingredients locally sourced. It is 2.5 miles (4 km) along the road from Puttenham towards Seale, approximately a 45 minute walk.

Slightly closer to Puttenham Barn you will find the Watts Gallery Tea Room (1.7 miles, 2.7 km away) or the Puttenham Golf Clubhouse (0.3 miles, 0.5 km away), all of which have some dishes that are vegetarian or vegan.

Alternatively, if you are venturing into Godalming, Roost provide splendid options that are gluten-free, dairy-free and created using unprocessed ingredients. They can be found on Wharf Street in Godalming (4.4 miles, 7 km away).

Our near neighbours The Good Intent two minutes walk away also have a good selection of meals available at lunchtime and evening.

Locally produced food

Do you love trying local food and supporting local producers?

Whilst in Godalming, stop by the Godalming Food Company deli near the Pepperpot on the High Street and you can purchase local produce there 7 days a week. On a Friday evening you can even sample the local food from a tapas menu.

If you time your stay right, you might be able to attend Loseley Park's monthly 'Farmm' produce sale held in their tithe barn, with all products made and fresh produce grown on the estate. Only 2.9 miles, 4.6 km away. Check the next sale date on the website and book your visit.
